Ecological Planning Group offers services tailored specifically to the needs of local governments, state agencies and authorities. We have provided services to a wide range of clientele, from small cities such as Darien to the large metropolitan area of Savannah. EPG also currently provides services to the University of Georgia Marine Extension Service and the Department of Natural Resources. Employees of EPG have worked or provided services to agencies including the Georgia Port Authority, the Chatham County Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission, and SAGIS (Savannah Area Geographical Information System.)

EPG staff has detailed knowledge of the various regulatory programs that impact local governments including the NPDES Stormwater, Industrial, and Wastewater permit programs; Water Withdrawal and Community Water Supply Permit requirements, the Rules for Comprehensive Planning; and the Rules for Solid Waste Planning. Our staff’s relationship and reputation with the various agencies that regulate these programs, including the GA Environmental Protection Division and the GA Department of Community Affairs has been built through a successful track record of helping clients achieve regulatory compliance in a cost effective and environmentally responsible manner. Furthermore, our understanding and historical experience with of the State Water Plan, the Coastal Plan for Water Withdrawal and Wastewater Discharge Permitting, and the Coastal Comprehensive Plan allows us to coordinate our clients local programs with ongoing State and Federal directives and initiatives.
